Our Story

Fresh Fit Consulting did not begin with a business plan. It began with a decision.

After nineteen years practicing internal medicine in a multi-physician, multi-specialty group in Tinton Falls NJ, Dr. Iza Boesler left. The decision was not about the medicine. It was about everything surrounding it: insurance companies setting the terms of care, a practice culture that never fully made room for her, and a growing conviction that the kind of medicine she wanted to practice, unhurried, personal, and genuinely attentive, was incompatible with the model she operated in.

Early logo concepts - January 2020

Fresh Fit Consulting opened its doors in January 2020, just as the country was beginning to shut down. The beginning was modest. A subleased suite from a plastic surgeon in Little Silver, a handful of patients who had followed Dr. Boesler from her previous practice, some of them for nearly two decades, who trusted her enough to follow her into the unknown. In those early months, building a practice meant navigating shifting CDC protocols and an uncertain regulatory landscape, while delivering the care patients depended on and trying to earn a living.

All gas, no breaks - February 2020

Then, one morning in late February, a parked car in the lot outside accidentally accelerated instead of braking, jumped a curb, and crashed directly through the wall of one of their leased exam rooms. No one was hurt. But the message was clear. That same day, Alan, who handled business operations, toured a vacant suite on the second floor of the building next door. Corner to corner windows. Wraparound trees so close they pressed against the glass. It felt like a treehouse. He knew immediately that this was the place.

Construction progress - September 2020

They signed the lease and moved in that May. What they moved into was essentially one private room in a large empty shell. It did not matter. Patients were waiting. So they saw patients through the construction, through open wall studs and equipment deliveries and contractors who showed up when they chose to. Over time everything came together. The space was finished and furnished, and the practice found its footing, refining a model built around restorative medicine alongside conventional internal medicine and sleep medicine, for patients who had not found answers anywhere else. What began as an act of conviction became the foundation of everything Fresh Fit Consulting stands for today.

iZA BOESLER MD

A smiling woman with short red hair wearing a white coat and a pearl necklace, against a light beige background.

Iza Boesler MD is a New Jersey-based physician with nearly thirty years of experience across private practice, hospital, and emergency room settings. Originally trained as an internist at the Warsaw Medical Academy in 1986, she independently board-certified in sleep medicine in 2009, bringing a dual clinical perspective to patient care that remains central to Fresh Fit Consulting’s operation.

Dr. Boesler is best categorized as a dreamer. In life and patient care, she is perpetually curious, operating from a sense of wonder and growth. Constantly learning in and outside her practice, she has a passion that never sleeps. For her patients, that curiosity translates into a physician who is never satisfied with an incomplete answer.

When not seeing patients, Dr. Boesler feels most comfortable outside in nature. Her favorite films and TV shows are full of mystery and unexpected laughs. If not for medicine, Dr Boesler would have pursued her passion for classical piano. Her ideal temperature is 77°F. Regarding snacks, Iza prefers sweet to salty but is, open-minded.
